The Attractions

Before and during the Second World War, Italy aimed to achieve total self-sufficiency, seeking to minimise dependence on foreign countries and benefiting domestic industries and companies. Bianchi was among the most ardent supporters of this ideology, and his loyalty to the regime helped it to flourish. In 1934, Bianchi introduced the 250 Freccia d'Oro, also available in a sports version that offered 2.5 hp more and dual exhausts.
This remarkable example of the Freccia D'Oro is attractive from the first glance. The paintwork is period as is the chrome, and the mechanics have been restored with great respect and skill, preserving a patina appropriate to its age and making the bike rideable and capable of good performance.
It still retains its original Turin number plate and original registration certificate - and, in short, is a valuable and impeccable testimony to one of the most fascinating eras in the history of motorbike design.
