Reliably with long trips overseas including Le Mans
Mostly original interior with gentle patina
Recent new distributor, coil leads and restored carburettor
The Appeal
The ‘all weather’ Harley version of the Light Twelve Four embodied Herbert Austin’s belief in cars demonstrating longevity, robust construction, sound engineering and good value for money.
This lovely early 1933 example was restored in the 1970s and has been carefully maintained and enjoyed ever since. There have been just five registered keepers according to the DVLA, the most recent enjoying the car for local and longer trips, including twice to Le Mans.
The car is very original and in good order. Recent maintenance includes a new distributor, coil leads and carburettor restored to what the vendor describes as ‘show standard.’
As practical as it is pretty, this Light Twelve Four looks ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian.
