Hello, L'atelier des 1000 is pleased to present this beautiful Triumph TR6 PI Overdrive for sale today in a stylish configuration with its Bordeaux colour, black leather interior and matching Alpaca soft top.

The TR6 stands out in the manufacturer's catalogue. Initially intended for the US market, this little English car was more muscular than its predecessors, this PI version develops 150hp thanks to Lucas injection and was reserved for the European market, rarer and more powerful: it is particularly appreciated by seasoned collectors.

Our car was delivered new to Portugal and imported to France in 2014. Its current owner has owned it for almost 10 years and would now like to sell it to us. A thick file of invoices accompanies the vehicle, and more than €15, 000 worth of work has been carried out over the last 10 years.

Rare: we have its original owner's booklet . The paintwork is in very good condition, with a good shine and a particularly tight finish . The chrome is sparkling . Inspection of the underbody reveals a particularly sound car, free from corrosion . The genuine leather upholstery is in good condition overall, with a slight patina that lends it a certain charm . The original steering wheel is perfectly preserved, as is the wooden dashboard . The carpets are in good condition and in keeping with the original, while velour floor mats edged with red netting and embroidered with the Triumph logo have been fitted.

The black alpaca soft top is as good as new. A new tonneau cover and soft top cover are supplied. We also have a black hard top available at extra cost. Mechanically the car starts easily without noise or smoke and revs up quickly.

The fuel injection is in great shape, the 6 injectors were replaced 2 years ago and the fuel tank was replaced by an aluminium version. The fuel pump and PRV valve were also refurbished a few years ago, and the ignition has been replaced by an electronic model for greater reliability and improved combustion. The alternator has also been replaced. The gearbox guides and locks its gears correctly and the overdrive is functional. The clutch emitter and receiver are new. The exhaust system has been replaced by a stainless steel version, which not only lasts almost forever, but also produces an enchanting sound every time the accelerator pedal is depressed. The running gear is behaving well, having undergone a complete overhaul in 2017. The wishbones have been sandblasted and repainted, while the silent blocks have been replaced by polyurethane versions for greater rigidity.

The suspension is efficient and the steering has no abnormal play. The brakes are power-assisted and were refurbished in 2021, including the replacement of calipers, hoses and master cylinder. The original rims are fitted with tyres in very good condition, replaced 4 years ago. Favourable roadworthiness test Delivery possible throughout France.
