Description
Renault NN 1923 cabriolet Company history Renault was born on 25 February 1899 to Louis Renault and his brothers Marcel and Fernand. Louis was a slim, ambitious young engineer who, together with his brothers, had designed several prototypes and built his own factory. His main projects were his father's textile business. At the 1923 Paris Motor Show, the Renault Type NN was the successor to the small 6 CV, for which it had originally been built in 1922 and known as Type KJ. The first Renault Type NN had no wheels and the round Renault monogram was on the bonnet. The car was built at the new Ile Séguin factory in Boulogne-Billancourt, where Renault engaged in chain production and large production volumes. From 1923 to 1929, the NN was built and then switched to other models. Registration: Present/ Carte Griss
