Nice and powerful Lancia Thema turbo ie, sold because I don't use it much unfortunately. It was a first hand car when I bought it in autumn 2020, the owner had sold it because it was very old. I immediately had the timing system and water pump changed, the windscreen, a major overhaul of the fluid filters, the complete exhaust system, the rear shock absorbers and the 4 tyres. ...... Everything was in good condition, but out of date. The Italian is in its original condition, with no chassis corrosion, some light rust on the wings and small dents and scratches made by its first owner.
The interior is very good. The driver's seat is not torn, but a little worn by the years. The headliner has been refurbished by a professional upholsterer. It drives very well, very hard, powered by its Lampredi turbo 8 valves identical to the first Delta HF. 1986 vehicle equipped with a trip computer, centralization, electric windows, power steering. A smooth ride, mechanical flexibility difficult to find in today's cars. It runs very well on SP 98, but personally I always add a little lead when I refuel. My Thema consumes absolutely no oil.
To be taken with reservations, but the previous owner had certified to me that the complete engine had been changed at 185, 000 km because of the brand's garage following a poorly executed service and oil change....... he had given me a paper, but could no longer find the invoice....... Having said that, the engine is really great, which is what motivated me to believe in this change...... but I can't guarantee it. The car is ready to cover any distance, I took part in Spa Italia with it in 2021, on the German motorway at 230 km/ h without any problem. No exchange, no crazy proposal, no delivery in Africa.
