IWI cars offers for sale this superb pre-war Fiat: It is a Fiat 508 Balilla from 1936, model 995cm3 with 4 gears (floor-mounted lever), this vehicle has remained in the North Franche Comté region since 1936 (as evidenced by photos taken out of the barn).
It has taken part in numerous outings and historic gatherings in recent years (crossing the Montbéliard region in 2017, for example). The vehicle was owned by a nurse in the 1930s in Giromagny (90), as evidenced by a plaque inside the vehicle. The car is in very good condition (bodywork, upholstery, chassis, etc.). The engine has been restored so the vehicle starts very well (no clattering, stable idle, no leaks ...) but it will be necessary to do some small work before taking the road for the next trips: - revise the brakes (drain and bleed the brakes, fixing the jar of brake fluid) - The clutch is glued The engine is a 4 cylinder in line fed by a single carburetor.
This Balilla is fitted with a 12 volt power supply and runs on leaded petrol. The interior has 4 seats and the upholstery has been completely redone. The tyres are new, as are the wooden floors. The vehicle has been completely restored. Everything is functional, the vehicle starts well and the idle is stable.
