Description
Sell Dodge WC 52 WW2 year 1945 end of war in perfect condition. Collector's registration in my name with perfect correspondence with the Dodge chassis number + FFVE certificate of authenticity + official American papers of payment of the vehicle to the French army.
Complete high quality restoration in conformity with the original: chassis (sandblasted, remetallized zinc + aluminium, 2 coats of truck red primer and 3 coats of drab olive green paint), bodywork (rebuilt front wings, left and right bodyshells, sandblasted front mask, cab floor and seat supports redone in 2mm sheet metal, front seats redone as new, rear body floor, seats + backrest redone in Ipe wood), running gear (axles, hubs, drums rebuilt), brakes (master cylinder, wheel cylinders, linings, pipes changed and rebuilt in annealed copper on the Dodge), 4 sets of shock absorber blades changed, reinforced mounted at the front and metal-covered ambulance blades at the rear, the 4 travel limiters rebuilt with US repair kit.
Fuel system cleaned and rebuilt to new: tank cleaned, unbalance plate re-welded, Restom treated; fuel pump rebuilt to new with US repair kit; original fuel filter changed; piping changed and reformed on Dodge in annealed copper. Electrical wiring harness (front and rear) changed with new MV Spares.
Engine, gearbox and transfer case replaced by new reconditioned ones, Braden MU2 winch mechanism, trunnion and drive shaft + self-breaking pin replaced. Electrics: 6V Dynamo Autolite rebuilt with US repair kit, starter replaced by new US NOS Autolite, Autolite voltage/ current regulator and circuit breaker rebuilt with US parts.
Radiator rebuilt as new (upper and lower boxes desoldered, acid cleaned then re-soldered, honeycomb braided, acid cleaned) All spare parts are either NOS, or US remanufactured, Australian etc... but no Taiwanese origin!
