Red colour combined with black leatherette interior with white piping and black carpet. This magnificent TR 3 comes with an original hardtop in the same colour as the bodywork. A black vinyl soft top is also included.
This superb Triumph TR 3 was sold new in the UK, where the car has undergone a full body-off restoration in recent years.
This right-hand drive TR 3 was imported into the Netherlands in November 2024, but is not yet registered.
All important UK and import papers are present, this sports car can be sold and registered in any country. The magnificent professional restoration is fully documented. This TR 3 is one of the best you will find; this example is in superb (concours) condition!
In 1956 the Triumph TR 3 was the first production car to be introduced with Girling front wheel disc brakes. This magnificent TR 3 has all the original details and the car comes with a hard-to-find original hardtop! The car comes with a full soft top, ready to be swapped as desired. The revised two-litre four-cylinder engine runs and sounds faultless, and the four-speed gearbox shifts crisply and accurately.
The car is fitted with silver enamelled wire wheels.
In addition, this TR 3 is fitted with period accessories such as Lucas auxiliary wide-beam cornering/ fog lights with black vinyl covers at the front, a badge bar and a Butlers map reading light on the dashboard.
