Very well restored Triumph TR6. The restoration is old but remains in exceptional condition. This particular example was imported from California and was a beautiful rust free example prior to its restoration. The chassis and bodywork are in excellent condition and the choice to paint the car bright yellow is a good one. The classic black interior has been well preserved and is in good condition. The car has recently received a new black vinyl soft top and stores neatly under its cover when not in use. The wooden dashboard is not cracked and has not really suffered from the Californian climate. The top of the dashboard is not cracked. All the Smith gauges are original and in good working order. Both seats still have their seat belts and a roll bar has been bolted to the rear for added safety. The in-line 6-cylinder engine starts immediately and works well with these two Weber carburettors. The 4-speed gearbox shifts smoothly and handles well, as does the braking. To cope with the hot climate, the previous owner added an electric cooling fan. This TR6 is therefore ready to tackle any type of weather or traffic. The new wheels have been fitted with new tyres and a nice set of chroom rings. All the chrome on the car is clean, with the exception of a few minor traces of wear here and there. A set of high beam headlights has also been added to the car.
