Description

Up for sale is this very charming Triumph TR3. Originally exported for the American market, it has now found its way back to the continent. The car is in excellent condition. There are no signs of rust and the bodywork is in excellent condition. Apart from a few signs of wear and tear and use since its restoration, the car is extremely charming in its light blue colour. The interior has been fitted with 2 black vinyl bucket seats with white piping and a pair of blue OMP harnesses. A roll bar has been fitted at the rear for added safety. The black vinyl dashboard is in excellent condition and looks great with the wooden centre piece matching the wooden Motolita steering wheel. The dashboard has been kept as it was originally and is fitted with Jeager and Lucas meters as well as some rally equipment such as digital terratrip, map reading light and digital tripmaster. The 4-cylinder engine is in very good condition, fires up immediately and runs smoothly. Other equipment under the bonnet includes a set of K&N air filters, a Kenlowe electric cooling fan and, most importantly, the overdrive-equipped 4-speed gearbox. On the outside, the car looks great with Minilite alloy wheels, Chroom luggage rack, leather bonnet straps, etc.... A white soft top with matching side screens is also supplied with the car. The car is currently registered in Belgium and comes with a FIVA ID card, British Heritage Trust and full history file with photos.
