During part of its life, notably 1965, the car sat in a barn for 25 years. It wasn't until the early 1990s that it emerged from its remarkably well-preserved North Yorkshire barn. Believed to be the only original 2-litre Lagonda with T7 bodywork ever produced, this remarkably well-preserved car has been the focus of much attention in recent years. In 2019, its bodywork has been meticulously repainted, making it one of the most attractive 2-litre cars on the market. In 2021, the engine received a complete overhaul, including an HCS engine conversion, increasing its capacity to a solid 2. 4 litres and doubling the power of the original engine. The gearbox, differential and brakes have also undergone a complete overhaul, and to bring the car up to its current level of excellence, skilled craftsmen have produced and fitted new upholstery. In addition, a new roof and tonneau cover were fitted as part of the restoration process, ensuring that this 2-litre Lagonda shines like a true automotive jewel.
