Motors Corner presents this rare 1960 Maserati 3500 GTi coupé for sale Vehicle history: The Maserati 3500 GT was a great success in the 50's and 60's, thanks to its design by the Milanese firm Touring, bringing with it its famous lightweight tubular Superleggera chassis. From 1960 onwards, fuel injection was added to the model, giving the engine an extra 15 bhp.
Our model was fully restored in the 2000s, and since then it has been properly maintained, and is now in perfect condition, ready to take to the road. Mechanical condition: A restoration of the mechanical system was carried out in 2005, in the Paris region, at Mr Camerano's, according to the rules of the art, and all the peripherals were also restored. The mechanical system of this 3500 GTi has since been properly maintained, and is now in perfect condition. The cylinder head was converted to unleaded in 2015, the valve guides were changed, the seats were rectified and the surface was polished. The ride is pleasant, the handling is very good, the steering is precise and gear changes are easy. A stainless steel exhaust system adds a beautiful sound to the engine. Exterior condition: The bodywork was redone in the 2000s in the Paris region, with the necessary technical attention to detail for an aluminium body. The paintwork looks very good overall, with the grey colour emphasising the beautiful lines of the Touring bodywork. The panel alignments are good, the chrome is in perfect condition and the grille components were replaced as new in 2016. The wire wheels are well preserved and the 15-inch tyres are in good condition. Interior condition: The interior was also refurbished in the 2000s, the tan leather upholstery is in perfect condition and the front and rear seats are as new. The tan leather door inserts are also in perfect condition. The beige carpet is new and free of wear. All the dashboard components are in perfect condition. The roof lining is also in perfect condition.
