The Ford Mustang can be considered the first "pony car", designed to appeal to the baby boom generation. It played a major role in the emergence of this category of affordable sports cars, rapidly becoming a symbol of freedom and youth. Its influence on American motoring culture is indisputable, placing it at the heart of the history of sports cars in the United States. Our example is one of the very rare 1967 GTAs, the only year with this designation, designating GT packs fitted with a C6 Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic gearbox. It is equipped here with the highly desirable Big Block 390 ci 6. It has been in France since 2012, in the hands of the current owner for 3 years. Mechanical condition: The mechanical package of this Ford Mustang has been properly maintained over the last few years by American specialists. The engine starts effortlessly, offering good performance. Idle is stable. Willwood ventilated/ grooved front disc brakes have been fitted, and the exhaust is recent. The exhaust system is new. Exterior condition: This Mustang's configuration is as it left the factory. The bodywork is of a very high quality and reflects its "Springtime Yellow" colour to great effect. Every detail has been carefully preserved and all the chrome is in perfect condition. The car is fitted with the GT pack, which includes additional headlights in the radiator grille, specific branding and firmer suspension for improved roadholding. Interior condition: The interior of this Ford is in excellent condition considering its age. The original black upholstery is in good condition and the carpets are in good condition. All interior components are in good condition and complete. The equipment and instrumentation are fully operational.
