Sell Porsche 928 S first series. 4. 7L engine, 300 hp, K-Jetronic injection, manual gearbox. Origin and German registration, we lived in Berlin. I have owned the vehicle in 3rd hand since 2010 and know its history, having contacted the 2nd owner who did the first 250, 000 kilometres (sic) in a company car, with maintenance at Mahag (VW-Porsche) in Munich. The service book was unfortunately destroyed. A few invoices from the 90s-92 remain, before the car was immobilised until 2010! At purchase, recommissioning with replacement of all wear parts. Last major service in 2019 with the belt, etc. invoice €3000 The car runs very well. Being part of a small collection, it doesn’t cover as many miles as it deserves. But every time it’s a delight! The bodywork, repainted in 2005 in the original Minerva Blue Metallic shade, presents very well, despite 3 minor parking scrapes on the front bumper. No corrosion. The interior would benefit from a refresh, the dashboard leather a bit tight on the right, the front seat fabric quite worn (spare fabric provided), the boot carpet slightly discoloured. The car apparently had full options (I did not request this from Porsche), but not all are functioning anymore; the driver’s seat memory yes, the cruise control no, etc. I have not tried to get the air conditioning back up, but I was told it should be possible. The tyres need changing, with the right tread but they date from 2010! In my view the best of the 928s, still relatively light but with 300 hp, the K-Jetronic injection with no issues as long as the engine is started from time to time. The only 928 model sent to Le Mans – twice, with no major modifications and with a 22nd place in the overall standings. It is therefore eligible for Le Mans Classic, even though I have not tried. Comparable in quality and performance with a Ferrari or an Aston Martin from the 80s, for 1/ 10 of their budgets... Sincere regards.
