Description
1938 Austin 10 Cambridge. Photo-documented bodywork and interior restoration. No rust throughout. Mechanical restoration with over £12, 000 of invoices from Roses Garage, Sandwich (Classic Car Engineers). Work includes refaced cylinder head, steering box, front and rear brake shoes, wheel bearings, road springs, starter motor, wiring. Sliding roof. New tyres. Buff log book. 88, 200 believed genuine miles. Beautiful car. Always garaged. Reluctant, private sale. Located near Sandwich, Kent. I bought this car in 2016 because of its prettiness and solid condition but mostly because it is exactly same model and year as my father’s car - the one I learned to drive on, way back in the early 1960s. I have spent money on getting it even better, but now, as I am getting old myself, I have decided it is time I have to part with my classic cars, each of which represents a time in my motoring life - my 1938 Austin 10, my 1971 VW Beetle and my 1975 Bristol 411. I do hope my Austin 10 goes to a good home as this lovely car deserves it. It is a head-turner!
