1960 MERCEDES-BENZ 190SL - 'Restomod' with V6 - 3, 800cc engine, 5 Speed gearbox and Power Steering. This is not for the faint hearted, as very quick and lively, wheel spins in 3rd gear, but great fun and highly exhilarating. Also not for the purists, as has been heavily modified, but still retains it's beautiful lines and sublime looks, but now with some punch. Not concour's, as price obviously reflects, but a highly usable and fun car which garners masses of attention and photo's wherever I take her. Sorry to see her go, as been huge fun, but just not using her and sat languishing in my garage under cover. Never been in the rain during my ownership and always kept inside dehumidified garage. I have masses of receipts and prior to coming over to the UK she had $20K spent on her in the USA, only done approx 1, 500km since. She has upgraded brakes also to cope with the power increase, a signed Nardi steering wheel (£2, 500 on it's own) and retro DAB stereo. Happy for viewings, as genuine car at a very reasonable price, probably cheapest in the UK. Number plate by separate negotiation. Masses of bills, $20K spent in the USA just prior to shipping to UK.
