Offered for sale is my stunning Porsche Boxster S, 6-speed manual. This is the last year of the 986, a face-lift with the updated lights and bumpers, the best of the original Boxsters. I think it goes without saying that it's aged beautifully! I can't as much as clean it without strangers coming to look and compliment it.
Perfect timing for summer! The value of these cars bottomed a few years ago and has been steadily rising since as nicer ones become harder to find and more modern Porsches become less of a 'drivers' car - like the 981 with its electric steering...
Timelessly classy, finished in Polar Silver with Carrera style 5 spoke alloys, Metropol Blue roof/ interior and red 'S' calipers.
Brand new battery. Just serviced. Freshly refurbished wheels. Fresh wheel alignment. Hand-brake assemblies recently rebuilt.
A lovely spec with: Bose sound system (essential with the top down), 6-CD changer, Porsche emblem seats, electric seats, power adjusting mirrors, AC, Porsche Stability Management, wind deflector etc..
Loads of Porsche history (and some indi) make a total of 8 recorded services, including a major service at Porsche Centre Chester at 72k miles.
I've purchased the build sheet and dealer history through VIN Analytics to confirm that the car is exactly as it left the factory. On top of this, I have loads of receipts for parts and work done.
Plenty of tread on all 4 tyres, all hold pressure with no problems. Tyres are matching across the axles (an absolute must!). Loads of meat on the discs/ pads.
No leaks! Has never left as much as a drip on my garage floor, where it's currently dry stored.
None of the 'common' roof issues where the soft-top pops out of the trims when going up, or where the tie rods for the roof cover don't pull it fully down (watch out for these).
Drives fantastic! Goes, turns and stops like a Porsche should.
Given the age of the car, I've also op-ed to coat the underside in Lanoguard as a preventative measure.
Being 21 years old, the car does show some signs of age but I'll let the photos speak for themselves regarding its condition/ presentation.
Unfortunately, having just moved house, I could do with the funds which forces the sale. However, it won't be the last Porsche I own. I've previously owned a 987 Cayman but there's nothing better on a nice day than being able to drop the roof and hear the 3. 2 flat 6 sing! Sounds fantastic!

UK mainland delivery can be arranged. The previous owner fitted sports CATs along with new lambda sensors which means this particular Boxster S sounds absolutely fantastic! and has the performance to match.
Nothing quote drives like a Porsche; for me the Boxsters and Caymans (unpopular opinion) are a much nicer drive than a 911. They cant be beaten for balance and a pure driving experience! The Boxster made even better of course by being able to take the top off.
