The car has the benefit of power steering, central locking, manual factory fitted sunroof, alloy wheels, Tinted glass, folding rear seats and so on. 3 owners from new.
The first and predominant owner was a lady who cherished it - had it very regularly serviced and attended to as supported with the service book and invoices. Mileage also verified independently via on line dvla mot records. The lady also had the car garaged evidenced by the totally original condition. The paint finish is original and virtually unmarked with the exception of 2 marks, one on each side of the plastic front bumper.
The second owner was a young university student who never actually used it and only had it for few months so I am informed by the 3rd owner who was a classic car collector. He owned the car for approximately 3 years, he too had the car permanently under cover continuing it's wonderful preservation. The 3rd owner knew the previous owners, the servicing dealer from the first owner and indeed looked after the car himself.
As many will recall, Ford's from this era unfortunately suffered from rusting sills, wheel arches and underneath. This car is original and never had the need for welding repairs.
Both sills are in excellent condition as indeed all wheel arches and underneath.
The interior too is exceptional underlying its genuine low mileage. The cloth seats are impeccable, all trim work inside is absolutely lovely and demonstrates how well the car has been cared for.
Under the bonnet is as you would expect for a vehicle that has travelled so little but also having been maintained throughout it's life.
In my opinion the car is in exceptional original condition and quite easily taken to events to be proudly shown off.
