Build at the Halewood factory in Great Britain October 1968 and is a genuine Twin Cam Escort, proper BB type 49 car.
The car was converted to full race spec "FIA App. K Period G" by the legendary Swedish racing builder and driver Tommy Brorsson.
The car was build from bare metal in 2001 with full race Lotus twin cam engine, straigt cut gearbox with alloy bellhousing and alloy tail housing, LSD in alloy diff, Panasport mag/ alloy lightweight wheels with Pirelli Corsa tyres, single leaf springs, heated windscreen, fiberglass bonnet and boot lid and all you need to be quick in a Escort MK1!
The car is not a trailer queen, but is and has been one of the fastest Escorts in Northern Europe for the past 20 years including wins at Oldtimer Gp Nürburgring, Copenhagen GP, Spa etc.
The car has not been used since 2019 and needs an overhaul before racing it.
The car comes with out of date FIA papers aswell as V5 road registration.
