No leaks, no rattles, no mythical 5th gear pop-out (we've owned many & never yet experienced this). This car has been newly recommissioned after 14 years off the road.
Welding completed in the usual places (sills, arches, door post), all done & ready to see you through a good few years to come.
Passed MOT 28 January 2025, with no advisories.
Driven over 1, 000 trouble-free miles since recommissioning, in theory to resolve the inevitable niggles after so many years parked up. However in practice there haven't been any, except temperamental central locking which is now fixed & fully working. OK, busted ... I've just been enjoying driving it!
The car is not concours - a good looking, great condition, used & useable car, for the new owner to enjoy driving without worrying about, and/ or improve to your own preferred standard.
Red paint suffers from a bit of fade, so could benefit from some ongoing improvement & maintenance if you want it to look its best.
Minor imperfections in the bodywork, in line with age & mileage. Small ding in the driver's door, shown in the photos.
No imperfections in the drive! Drives absolutely beautifully & after almost 200k miles of Mk1 MR2 driving in my life, I can say that with complete confidence.
Selling as we only bought it to recommission & already have a few other Mk1s of our own, so we can't keep them all. Or so I'm told :-(
