YAMAHA TDM900 - 2006 - OCEAN DEPTH MICA METALLIC - 6000 MILES
I bought this TDM900 from Skellerns Worcester in August 2006. It has since served me well for a few continental holidays but has largely been stored (with maintenance) in my heated carpeted garage under a tailored cover.
As befits the mileage and the summer use only, the bike is indistinguishable from new. It is also completely standard with the exception of very neat Krauser pannier racks (which have accompanying hard luggage). Despite being only being an “adventure” bike - albeit the one that started the trend many moons before everyone got in the act - I have serviced it with as much love and care as any of my other “Sportier/ Flashier” bikes. Consequently, it has had time based maintenance to the fluids and consumables, together with receipts. Given its mileage, it has never needed to have the rocker cover removed. The engine remains in fine fettle. The bike has very good Michelin Pilot Road tyres and the chain has never been adjusted except when the wheel was removed for tyre changing. It is ready to go and is only for sale as I have decided to reduce my bike numbers due to a possible house move. It is really an astounding bike for the price. 90bhp is never too little and it remains an easy bike to ride. Just hop on and go. There is no need for traction control or any other modern stuff, but it does tell you everything you need to know.
The bike comes with a full history folder, three keys (including the red one), and all books and related information. The bike will be sold with its cover and paddock stand and the panniers are negotiable. I will truly be sorry to see it go.
