Recently fully restored matching numbers UK RHD 1966 VW Beetle. This classic beetle was purchased a year ago and has had in excess of 30k work completed on it (full receipts available) to make it a stunning custom finish. Sadly unforeseen reason to sell meaning it’s up for sale. It was only completed April 2025 so is mint, new conditions for all parts, respray, upholstery etc
Year: December 1966 ( 1967 model year )
Colour: Satin Bronze Green
Engine: 1500cc, Powder coated tinware, new clutch, generator etc etc
Electrics: Original 12 volt
Wheels: 5off 15” Fumagalli steel ( 4. 5” front, 5. 5” rear) new Continental tyres.
Recent full body off pan restoration. Floorpan finished in 2K gloss black with front disc brake conversion and new parts throughout. Including Limebug rear adjustable 2” dropped spring plates, front dropped spindles on 2” narrow Avis adjustable front beam.
Interior features new headliner and trim, seats refinished in Westfalia green plaid.

Great car, all the hard work and expense has been completed by a VW Specialist including the valuation. If you were planning a full restoration classic this is the completed one for you. This was purchased as a semi completed project a year ago, every part having been carefully labelled. The restoration has faithfully stuck to original period parts where needed (1966 dated seats) etc. Full and complete custom rebuild.
