Description
This is my Honda 305cc CL77. imported by a previous owner from the USA. One of Honda's best selling models of the 1960s. This is one of several bikes I am selling because after over 60 years of motorcycling it's time to reduce my collection. This is an unmolested original bike in running order. Everything thing works as it should and I have resisted the temptation to bring it up to showroom condition. Absolutely usable as is or the basis for an easy full cosmetic restoration. Everything is metal and no parts are missing. No plastic bits on these early Japanese bikes so they are easy to repair. It's showing the knocks and scratches of nearly 60 years but there is no rust and the tank interior is good. Much money spent including new drive chain and sprockets. Brakes overhauled. New engine parts including cam chain and tensioner. New Piston rings. New Primary chain (one of the few very hard to find parts as it's a special size). Cylinder head and carbs overhauled. New battery. Registered with the DVLA the v5c is present and in my name. Tax and MOT exempt of course. This is a genuine private sale so no part exchange considered.
