1962 Norton 650SS, Mileage 198. Immaculate Condition.
This first year 650SS had a full nut and bolt restoration by Norvil and has been part of my bike collection. Only 169 miles since the restoration. Now reducing the collection to bikes I actually ride. Kept in a heated brick built garage and maintained and started regularly. The condition of this bike is A1. Good reliable starter.
When restored, I had a few practical upgrades for today's road riding as I intended to ride it more frequently than I actually have. Added discrete LED indicators and lights/ indicators switchgear from a Commando MkI, electronic ignition and has a single carb fitted for easier starting.
Truly great condition, priced to sell - £6, 000. I have owned this bike (as part of my private bike collection) since January 2013. I purchased the bike from Norvil, who had totally rebuilt the bike from ground up restoration and included a few upgrades. Some early documentation of bike and the Norvil restoration is available, which I'll deliver as part of the sale.
