Good solid bodywork, no rust underneath . Arches perfect.
Interior clean and tidy, engine bay in good order.
It had a full restoration and some subtle expensive upgrades around 7 years ago costing over £20, 000
(The majority of P1's will have had or will need a restoration)
Upgrades include -
VF34 Turbo
Improved ECU Link G4 + , it gets rid of the troublesome Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
Toucanlink Vipec link vent mount
Larger and later V8 STI Top mounted intercooler to lower intake change temperature to protect the engine further.
Better quality / higher rated Walbro 255 fuel pump
New type 22B Rear lateral control arms upgrade and Sti drop links
New Prodrive Interior Car mats
Replacement STI Zexel Condenser Dryer and Air Con pipes
Hel performance Clutch lines
Uprated STI yellow 440cc fuel injectors ( instead of 380cc standard)
The standard 10mm OEM fuel pump was never strong enough to distribute oil equally to all cylinders under hard driving so was upgraded to the larger high performance 12mm Rally spec version
Rear suspension / control arms were upgraded to better Type 22b/ STI spec
Goodridge Hydraulic Stainless steel braided brake lines to improve brake pedal feel.
New Alternator
New Air Con pump
New Water pump
New front and rear wheel bearings
Modern 3M Shultz Underbody Coatings to protect the Underbody as Subaru did not protect them as well when they came out of the factory.
Replaced rear diff and 2 CV joints
Engine rebuild 3 years ago, belt and clutch changed at the same time.
Fully refurbed powder coated graphite grey OZ alloys and Michelin Pilot Sport tyres all round with excellent tread.
New Commission manufactured OZ centre caps
Discs and pads all very good with plenty of life left.
New full exhaust system.
Retrimmed P1 Momo steering wheel in Alcantara by Royal steering Wheels
Upgraded Bilstein B14 front and rear suspension, it really improves the drive.
I do have the original front and rear suspension struts and coil springs aswell.
The list goes on..
All the work carried out around only 5k miles ago
Stacks of Service history and all the manuals present.
So to summarize if your after a completely factory standard original untouched OEM example this is NOT for you.
If your after one with quality, expensive and subtle mods done to improve the base P1 then this WOULD be for you.
Overall a very respectable example with huge money spent.
