For Sale my 1966 Trafalgar Blue Morris 1000(Millie)
The history goes all the way back with the original invoice, dated 19 January 1966 from Herwins of Woolwich, London.
The original price including Anti freeze, Petrol, Road tax, Delivery and silver peak number plates (that are still fitter some 59 years latter) was the grand sum of £570 18s 10d.
It is a 2 door finished in the original Trafalgar Blue, Inside is in good condition with light blue vinyl finish, There are a few splits in the passenger seat, see photos. The Headlining is in great shape with just a few marks, see photo.. but I think its original.
For the age of the car! The body work is in great shape with just a couple of cracks on the bottom of the Drivers door & panel, see photos. The 1098 (A series) engine runs well on E5, with a smooth tick over, even the choke works correctly.. so a peg is not included in the price !
All tyres are in good condition including the spare, over the last couple of years I have fitted, a new stainless steel exhaust, Electronic Distributor, front & rear bumper chrome, Clutch, 1 steel front wing, Brake shoes & Cylinders, Plus other bits and bobs.
Comes with all the History I have + Some Minor matters magazines + other interesting material & a few spares.
The 1098cc engine make it Nippy around town, economical & a real Head Turner, it’s a Great usable classic with room for on going Improvements. Tax & MOT exempt.
