Offered for sale is this unique 2. 7 TDVi Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign 4 seat long wheelbase X356.
Originally manufactured in 2006 this pre-production car was ordered directly from Jaguar Cars LTD in Coventry by a government department. Although manufactured in 2006, it was not registered until 2007, and is believed to have spent some time on diplomatic plates in between the two dates. After it's first year in service it was then sold through the Jaguar Dealer Network to Taggarts in Glasgow. After this it passed through a couple of private owners until I purchased the car from a private chaffeur company in Oxford in 2022.
Current information regarding the car seems to also highlight that not only was it a special order, due to it's build and specification, but that it is also a 1 of 1 example with no other car matching it's specification or finish within the entire run of the Jaguar XJ 350/ 356 run. This is primarily down to it's colour, engine choice of the 2. 7TDVi, being a long wheel base, along with the installation of the Executive Business Pack which turns the car into a four seat limousine. The rear seats are heated, and are fully adjustable, partnered with picnic tables and a full rear entertainment pack which includes LCD Screens in the headrests. DVD Player and full audio control.
The car is a real head turner being Midnight in Colour, with a Warm Charcoal and Elm interior. During it's time it has always been fully maintained, and at one point was looked after by Creamers in London. It also comes with a full service history. The full specification of this car is substantial and it has to be seen to be fully appreciated. however it does include the following;

The car is now creeping towards 18 years old, and whilst in great condition does have a couple of small issues which need adressing which include the dash clock bulb has gone, and the CD Changer and DVD Player are currently not reading discs. Mirrors also do not fold in anymore, and there are two speakers which need to be rewired on the passenger side. It will also need one rear tyre changing soon. Otherwise the car is mechnicially sound, and will also have a new MOT prior to sale.
