1999 BMW Z3M in Beautiful Cosmos Black With Black Leather Interior
I purchased this beautiful Z3M in 2018 after about 2 years of searching for the correct car, I wanted a Black one which is hard to find but also one with very good Service History that hadn't been abused.
I bought the car from a private chap who had a collection of vehicles who was relocating abroad, as soon as I saw the car I knew that this was the one for me.
As soon as I bought the car I reviewed all previous MOT's going down through the list of any advisories it had ever had to ensure everything was perfect on the car. As a result during my ownership the car has had:
Complete rear suspension overhaul, new Koni Adjustable shocks front and rear and all suspension bushes replaced front and rear as well as rear subframe mounts.
Complete VANOS intake system rebuild/ overhaul using the famous Mr Vanos Seals as well as rear seals imported from America all using Viton to prevent any future issues or Oil leaks.
Sill corrosion protection treatment and futureproofing, including the removal of the Sills and cavity waxing/ POR15 painting to ensure long durability and none of the usual Z3 sill/ jacking point rust.
New Clutch and Dualmass flywheel fitted
Clutch hydraulic system entirely replaced with Stainless Braided lines throughout
Steering system overhaul including new rack fitted with inner and outer tie rods
Cooling system overhauled with new water pump / thermostat (BMW Specialist advised this was a good idea on these engines as preventative maintenance)

Additionally last year the Z3M had a Brand New Hood + All 4 Wheels professionally refurbishedAs you can see the servicing on this car is impeccable and it has never been abused or wanted for anything in its life. It is very rare to find an M car of any kind with this sort of maintenance that has been owned by sympathetic loving owners.
I have absolutely cherished it and I know I will never find another like it, even if I could find another black one with service history like this, it wouldn't have the AC Schnitzer pedals and rollover hoops like this one ( the latter I have been offered over 2000 euros for alone as they are so rare), feel free to check the forums.
It drives beautifully and looks fantastic, sounds great and pulls as it should, please note I have the original Radio also available with the car, if the bluetooth unit is not to the new owners taste, keeping it all original.
My only reason for even considering selling it is because it is not being used that much now, it spends 90% of its time sat in a dry storage facility as I only use the vehicle from around April to September, weather permitting and with 2 other cars I am finding myself using it less and less, so it seems a shame to be sat around.
That being said with the work that has been put into it and the overall condition/ my love for the car, I will not give it away. I'm purely giving another enthusiast the chance and picking up the torch of ownership and getting to use it more.
