Initially Uwe restored the car to road going specifications with a 1500cc Ford engine before converting it to an out and out sports racing car with a blue printed Urban Fassler twin cam. Uwe then raced the car extensively in the 80’s and 90’s in the European Sports Car Championship taking a class title in 1990. Purchased by the current owner in 2012 the car was restored to FIA specification with HTP. Raced in the Guards Trophy, Pre63Gt (Class Winner) and most recently with Fiscar. The car is well sorted and a delight to drive.
