Volkswagen golf GTI 3 door road registered race car with MSA competition car logbook. This Golf is in very good original condition for year with no discernible rust, it looks to have been converted around 2008 and comes with a MSA competition car logbook from that year, it was stripped and fitted with a roll cage, fire equipment, race seats and harnesses.
A friend campaign the car locally for a few years but it had been garaged around six years ago. See picture of this very Car promoting and competing at Snetterton’s BRSCC sportscar race weekend in the official race program!
The engine has now been replaced with a fairly fresh rebuilt (unfortunately no receipt) ported, cam’ed and tuned engine, it also has been fitted with adjustable coil over suspension, Corrado vented front brakes etc and new race cut tyres, all be it now they are a few years old. Ready to be prepped for a new seasons racing or maybe rallying it might require a new Harnesses and re charged fire bottle. I have been told these are comparatively cheap to run and an absolute blast to drive, as you can see by the last pictures it will come with original rear seats, lightweight bonnet, boot, some paperwork and bills, the last picture shows a race tuned spare 1. 8 GTI engine, this will be offered to the purchaser of the car by separate negotiation. So Time to go racing economically!
