Amateur restoration about 55 years ago ! Series 2 R16. RARE ! Only a handful of original R16's are known to exist. All correct numbers except crankcase was changed from a series 3 R11. Some spares and new bits go with the bike. Have owned this bike since around 2000. Not running. Almost all parts are original . Old age dictates sale. Interesting history, believed to have been brought to Canada when new circa 1931 by a prominent Canadian family. Speedometer rebuilt in Switzerland. New gas cap. Lots of new parts to help in the restoration and rare original literature. Original tools and rare intact double centre stands! New tubes and tires.
