Description
I have owned this car since March 2022. It has obviously been well cared for over the years, it is in totally original condition, with the odd age related mark and its rust free. I have looked after it by servicing it myself, including a timing belt change last June. The interval to change these is 10 years or 100000 miles so it won't need doing again for ages. Just before I bought it the radiator and exhaust were replaced but it hasn't needed a lot. I did have the headlights wrapped to protect them as they are real glass and can chip. Also I fitted a buzzer to warn if the headlights are left on as it did not come with one as standard. I have treated it with Collinite wax and done barely 4000 miles in it since I bought it. I have various spares to go with the car. I need to get something bigger. Costs peanuts to insure on a classic policy. Only real down points are the odd stone chip here and there. Some very slight peel to the fabric on the door cards, easily sorted with a bit of glue. I have added rear headrests and wind deflectors, also some better alloy wheels that go well with the car. These are rare cars nowadays, it gets lots of attention at petrol stations and B&Q car parks etc, its good to drive, economical and cheap (ish) to tax being the lower bracket fro pre-2001 cars, and will be tax and MOT exempt in 4 years. Not long!
I have the original radio for it although the previous owner changed it for a cheap kenwood one. I am only the third owner from new!
