Description
1974 Laverda SFC 750
17000 Series
Mine since 2010
One of a batch of 50 dispatched to the USA in 74 ( I believe there were 2 such batches).
On the SFC register and listed in Massimo Borghesi's book.
Subsequently returned to Europe, it was sourced in Germany by Tim and David Isles (Laverda Specialist), and first registered in the UK to David Isles who sold it to the previous owner in 1994. I bought it from him in 2010.
File of paperwork/ history etc, mostly from previous owner and possibly small spares package available that i also bought from previous owner.
Comes with two fuel tanks as seen in pictures. original tank lined but not had fuel in it in my ownership, i just used the aluminium tank.
Was part of a 70's Italian collection i had but all others sold a good while a go... kept SFC as it's just so pretty!
Not used much i must say and will require tyres (very old) and good going over. However i have just changed the oil, cleaned the carbs etc and it fired up instantly. Will no doubt require a day or so more giving it a good going over before using in anger.
The bike is priced accordingly re the above as it's not a 'get on and instantly ride' example. I wouldn't want to mislead any prospective buyers . However i cant really see it needing much.
More pics and starting video available on request.
Email contact only at first please.
Bike located in Oxfordshire UK and UK registered.
Please do not ask ‘best price’, but feel free to make a, sensible, offer if you wish.
Thanks.
