Description
1968 white with red interior 1800S, recent recommissioning after six years off the road this is a great use and improve car. Drives very well with great oil pressure (engine rebuilt with new clutch in 2017 receipt with the car). Mostly original interior in good shape (crack on left hand side of dashboard). Mileage just over 90000 believed genuine and long family ownership. Last MOT 2018.
Bodywork mainly very sound but has rust in rear lower panel and boot lid edge. Rust at base of screen drivers side. Rust on nearside jacking point. Few dents and scratches present but paintwork very presentable.
Chrome mainly good but faded in some areas, a couple of new stainless side trims fitted. Grill fitted poorly but in good condition.
Starts and runs very well with oil/ filter change, new fuel pump, new plugs, points, condensor, HT leads, distributor cap, new air filters and carbs serviced. Drives very well with gearbox smooth and overdrive very responsive. New heater valve and steering bars also fitted. Engine bay original and needs detailing/ deep clean or repaint. Electrics and most instruments all good (rev counter inaccurate and clock not working).
Brakes all good after new front brake calipers, hoses and pipes.
Suspension surface rusty.
New tyres fitted.
Overall a good honest car that can be used as is or taken to the next level. Currently I'm using it as work drive to ensure all good for next owner.
