Genuine 40 M 348cc race bike
Frame - May 1956 supplied to Harold Towner for rider Tommy Robb.
Engine - supplied to Demont of Geneva for rider Maurice Quincey.

4 speed AMC close ratio gearbox- no G50- 1793.
Sprint baffled tank.
Wheels - Front Borrani 18".
    Rear Dunlop 18".
Brakes front - Manx twin leading shoe.
Brakes rear - Manx single leading shoe.

Magneto: Lucas 2MTT Competition.

Carburettor: 1 3/ 8" GP2 carb with matchbox float. Rebuilt by a well known classic racer and professional engineer and been in his private collection since.
Engine recently stripped and checked by Andy Savage.
