Description

Auto Union DKW Munga German military Jeep.
The Munga has had a full body off refurbishment. It retains its two stroke 1000cc three cylinder motor, which sounds great. It has full time four wheel drive with working high and low ratio. There is no corrosion on the chassis or body and starts on the button every time. Excellent German engineering with each corner being exactly the same. Meaning all driveshafts, suspension arms, shockers and springs are all the same. There are 4 seats which are designed for quick release. The speedo shows 27, 000 km but I don’t know if that is correct although it does work. There have been a lot of new parts fitted which included exhaust, battery, alternator , shock absorbers and wiring loom. The Munga is in full working order both mechanically and electrically. Some engine parts have been upgraded to a modern standard to make the Munga more usable and reliable. These cars are very rare in the UK although very cheap to insure and no road tax or mot. Fantastic to use and show in both classic and military events. I’ll guarantee you will be the only Munga there. Does not come with a roof but all the bars and fittings are there. There are signs of the cars working past but it all adds to the look. Please contact me for further details and history.
