Description
This lovely old Wolseley was first registered 12th January 1972. It is now 53 years old and exempt from both road tax and MOT's. It is correctly registered as a historic vehicle. The last 2 owners kept the car for 36 years and covered only 41, 000 miles in that time. The mileage now reads 70, 090. The car is a Mark 2 1300 automatic 4 door saloon finished in Harvest Gold with a Tobacco brown interior. The exterior and paint are in great condition and the chrome grille, headlamp rings, door mirrors, hub caps, embellisher trim rings, handles, side trims, wipers and locking fuel cap all have very good condition chrome finishing. The inside of the car is also very good with the addition of some auxiliary switches, electric aerial, electric washers and hazard flashers fitted. It has a 2 speed fan on the heater and inertia seat belts. Also an AM/ FM Cassette stereo player with 2 underdash speakers. All the door trims and seats are in good condition. There is a split in a seam on the passenger seat which can be repaired. The headlining is very good. The rear seat is like new. The boot area is very clean with the original covered boot board hiding the spare wheel and tools under it. The underside has a nice even coat of stone chip paint to protect the car. The engine bay is excellent. The 1275cc 'A' series engine runs quietly and smoothly and the 4 speed automatic gearbox works as it should. Together they get you down the road enthusiastically and will cruise along nicely. There is a history file with old invoices and MOT's etc. The MOT's gp back to 1989 proving the mileage since. There is also an original sales brochure.
