Selling our Porsche Boxster S 986. This 2003 model features a 3. 2L flat-six engine with a six-speed manual transmission, finished in Seal Grey Metallic with a black convertible hood. It's ULEZ compliant and has 102, 000miles. I am the fifth owner, having acquired it in January 2019 and added approximately 20, 000 miles. The car is currently on a cherished number plate, P121 BXR, included as part of the sale its original number is YJ03 KHA.
The car presents well with minimal age-related wear and a few bonnet stone chips and light bumper scuff ls which I have mainly T cuttedbout.
The engine performs excellently and the gearbox shifts precisely. It comes with a Bose sound system, please note the current double din carpalh dvd stereo is not included and its original radio/ cd player will be supplied, electric windows, heated leather seats, air conditioning, an onboard computer, a spare wheel, a wind deflector abs, stability program. I have its stamped service book up to 75000 miles and receipts for all the services and work I have done. During my ownership and besides general service items the following items have been added/ replaced including
* New windscreen due to stone chip a reversing camera, and DAB aerial in 2024.
* Retrofit cruise control, oil and filter change, and a headlamp switch rectification in 2024.
* Retro heads up display fitted which shows speed and probably some other information.
* Rear n/ s brake pipe replacement and air conditioning system overhaul in 2023.
* Rear anti-roll bar, shocks, suspension coils, brake discs, pads, and wear sensors replacement in 2023.
* Replacement of all front and rear suspension components, steering track rod joints, and air conditioning system overhaul in 2022 and a regas in 2024
* New rear exhaust 2024
* 2025 a drivers door window regulator recently fitted
New bonnet gas struts front and rear
New drivers lock mechanism which has cured the window drop and any alarm setting issues
Heads up display on windscreen
Not so good issues:
* The second key appears to only lock and unlock the car and the steering lock
* A few small bubbles have appeared around rear drivers side wheel arch - photo added 14/ 04. I will try and obtain a quote to this panel repsrayed
