JAGUAR E TYPE Series 1. 5 FHC 2+2
A fantastic 1968 Jaguar E-type series 1. 5, 4. 2 engine, 2+2 is reportedly just 1 of 404 built, making this an extremely rare find and presented in Carmen Red with Black leather with red piping and black carpets.
This car has many of the Series 1 features including the split rear bumpers and inset rear number plate, toggle switches (and not rockers), smooth aluminum cam rocker covers (and not ribbed version). She has a very extensive history portfolio including maintenance invoices and previous MOT tests and even the original log book registration!
This very low ownership E Type has only ever lived in the UK and is a matching numbers car. It is right hand drive and manual gearbox.
Road tax and MOT test exempt.
I am confident that the mileage currently recorded at just 68, 000 is original and supported by old MOT’s and history.
Suffering from neglect and sadly - is not driven regularly.

FOR SALE £55, 000Extensive restoration carried out under my ownership during 2015/ 2016 with little use since. The restoration using recognized Jaguar experts has been thoroughly documented with all photos and receipts to be provided. The bodywork restoration alone included fully rebuilt bonnet, new cills, new door skins, new rear inner/ outer arches, new rear quarter panels, new engine frames followed by a professional respray. Other expenditure includes new brake calipers fitted, new carpets, new windscreen, new fuel tank, new headlining, rear differential rebuild, brightwork all re-chromed, and an electronic ignition fitted. Original black leather interior is still in great condition and showing lovely patina.
This is much better than the rest (please view those first) and offers a terrific opportunity to acquire one of the 1960s best ever cars.
