Here for sale is my beloved Honda Civic CRX 1. 6I 16V 1991 finished in Rio Red to UK Specification with as new cloth interior.
Supplied new September 1991 by Military Car Sales Germany to its 1st owner Mr J. Rathbone whilst serving in the forces.
April 1993 the car was brought to the UK, registered and kept by Mr J. Rathbone for 7 months before being sold November 1993 to a car enthusiast who then went on to keep the car for another 28 years. Fastidiously maintained and always kept in an integral heated garage.
Purchased by myself July 2022. I have previously owned a couple of CRX's during the late 80's early 90's and jumped at the chance to purchase this car to add to my collection. The condition really has to be seen to be believed and has clearly been cared for and cherished throughout its life.
Mileage currently sitting at just over 34, 000 miles which is exceptionally low for a vehicle of this age.
This little Honda is completely original and in excellent condition. The interior is as new with no signs of wear to any of the seats or internal features. The engine bay is superb.
Car starts first turn of the key and drives extremely well. Gear change is silky smooth. A very nippy little car and a pleasure to drive.
Always garaged during my ownership and very much lived upto the name 'Garage Queen'. Only ever taken out occasionally on dry sunny days.
The car has a completely advisory free MOT history and will be sold with 12 Months MOT.
Car comes complete with original bill of sale, owners manuals/ books and every MOT from 1995 onwards along with some service history.
Full V5 present and in my name.
Car was serviced 2022 including a new water pump, timing belt and 4 Yokohama Tyres.
I truly believe that this is an unrepeatable original example and would sit proudly in any classic car collection.
Very reluctant sale however feel it is now the time to let the car go for someone else to enjoy and cherish.
