Super rare Peugeot 205 1. 4 Open, only a handful currently on the road. Quite a high spec for the time with central locking, electric windows and big sliding glass sunroof.
Owned since 2019, 4 previous owners. No service history but it had the cam belt and water pump changed just before I bought it. Just passed it’s MOT. Drives exactly as a 205 should and no knocks or rattles including the interior. I put 4 Goodyear tyres on when I bought it and they’re hardly worn.
Car is in very good condition, nice shine when it’s been polished. There’s a bit of corrosion on the inside of the front doors where the check strap is but it’s been treated and a little bit at the bottom of the tailgate where the glass meets the seal. Underneath and the rest is remarkably rust free.
I’ve just done a 700 mile trip to wales and it was faultless and did over 50 mpg. Being a 1. 4 it is quite nippy.
I’m reluctantly selling as I have 3 other French classics and I’d really like it to go to a French car enthusiast.
