Classic Beach Buggy, built from a 1968 beetle, featured on the cover and inside of January 2015 Volkswagen magazine, as part of a 6 page feature.
All work done when bought in 2019. Which was:-
Replaced both floor pan halves, chassis stripped treated and painted, new beam with adjusters, new brakes pipes bearings balljoints , track rod ends, gaitors and much more. The 1300 engine had a top end rebuilt, fuel lines replaced with modern unleaded compatible products, the carb in new, new clutch. Repainted in VW taiga green. The corbeau bucket seats and rear seats where trimmed professionally westfalia plaid material and green vinyl, a pair of race style harnesses, surfboard rear view mirror and big foot accelerator pedal, all rewired using og beetle harness including a loud horn. This buggy even won best buggy and custom at alive and dubbin. I have loved this buggy since 2019, but unfortunately I no longer am able to drive it
