A fully restored 1956 Porsche 356 A T1 Cabriolet! This is an original 356 A T1 with Reutter bodywork of which only 69 pieces were produced!
Exterior:
The exterior of the 356 is in its original color Silber Metallic 608. The original steel rims with chromed hubcaps are fitted under the car. Furthermore, the car is equipped with chrome bumpers, moldings and door handles. The Porsche is also equipped with a black soft-top. The Porsche has been completely body-off restored and has been completely brought back to the original factory specifications.
Interior:
The interior of this Porsche 356 is in beautiful condition, in its original color Grün leather with green carpet. All original clocks are present and in good condition. Furthermore, the car is equipped with all original details on the dashboard and a beautiful original steering wheel.
The technique:
The technique of the Porsche is in very good condition. The engine is its original 1600cc / 60ps 4-cylinder which runs excellently, fully overhauled and Matching Numbers. Power is transmitted through a 4-speed manual gearbox which is also Matching Numbers. The complete technique has been completely overhauled. The complete chassis has also been restored.
The history:
This special Porsche 356 A T1 Cabriolet was delivered new in France on September 11, 1956. The car was delivered new here by Son Auto, the Porsche importer of that time. It is known that the car had 1 owner from 1994 to 1998, after which the car was owned by the next owner for 18 years. In 2016 this car was fully restored to factory specifications!
This is a very rare Porsche, only 69 of the 356 A T1 were built at the end of 1955 and the beginning of 1956, the new model arrived in mid-1956! This is a very exclusive Porsche of which only 69 pieces were ever produced! This 356 is also approved for the Mille Miglia!One of only 69 ever produced
