The exterior of this Mercedes-Benz has the original color Schwarz. Under the car are the original steel rims with hubcaps. The car is also equipped with Whitewall tires. All the chrome is in excellent condition as well as the beautiful black soft-top. The car has been professionally restored in the Netherlands.
Interior:
The interior of this Mercedes-Benz 170S A Cabriolet is finished in red leather with red carpet. Like the exterior, the interior has also been restored. The interior has been completely restored to the original. The car therefore has an original radio (unfortunately not functioning), a completely wooden dashboard and a folding rear seat.
The technique:
This Mercedes-Benz 170S A Cabriolet is equipped with its original, matching numbers 4-cylinder in-line engine that delivers 52 hp. The car drives perfectly and the gearbox shifts properly. The technique was also fully addressed during the restoration and has always been very well maintained after that time.
The history:
The Mercedes-Benz 170S A Cabriolet was delivered new in 1952, the car was imported to the Netherlands in 1960. The car has been in the possession of the last owner since 1990. He had the car fully restored, a large folder with invoices, photos and valuation reports is available. After the restoration, the car drove a few tours and was always in a large collection of Mercedes-Benz. The last owner owned the car for 33 years!Long term ownership (33 years)
