Description

Norton Model 50 350cc 1958. Reg 639XWE.
Early Norton frame with Road holder forks. Full width hubs.
Please feel free to contact me to view the bike before purchase.
Currently on the road it runs and rides lovely, no smoke, starts easily, clutch and gearbox smooth in operation. All lights working including brake light and bright 6V Led pilot light and headlight bulbs. In my view appears to be an older restoration that has stood for years so there is some surface patina in places such as wheel rims, other chrome and alloy cases. All looks to be good condition original tinware etc. I have not restored it but have painted Petrol tank, oil tank, side panel and primary cover . Smith’s chronometric speedo refurbished and calibrated, new L F Harris speedo drive fitted. brand-new Amal Monoblock carburettor. New rear chain and sprocket. New rear shocks fitted (shocks taken of I kept to include in the sale). Engine, fork and primary oil changed. Have ridden it locally round our country lanes and it is a joy to ride. Has V5 classed as Historic vehicle so is Tax and MOT exempt. Does have a current MOT which expires 24-10-2025.
Please note it is a private sale the bike is 65 years old so it is sold as seen with no warranty or guarantee. Nice example and worth viewing feel free to ask questions or arrange to view I am retired so can accommodate viewing by appointment.
