The time has come to sell my gorgeous 1999 TVR Chimaera 450 in Ash Green Metallic, with complementing Green and Magnolia Interior. The car benefits from having Power Steering, plus the Optional Estoril Wheels which really make the Chimaera stand out.
My car has the added options of Alloy Trim Set including alloy Hand brake etc., Upgraded front brakes (4 pot Alloy Callipers) for improved stopping power, Upgraded Engine Management (Powers-Performance MBE System) for added reliability plus smoother driving experience, ACT Air Induction Hoses, Latest MK4 Bilstein Suspension Kit, Pioneer Radio/ CD with boot mounted CD Changer. Diff bushings replaced, Anderson Leads (remote Battery Charging). Fuel line replaced from Front to Back - Always run on Super Leaded during my ownership,
The car comes with an A4 Folder of Full History and receipts including original sales order, for works carried out. The Service Book s stamped up, plus both sets of keys. Current Valuation by TVRCC of £24000.
Being a later Mk2 Chimaera the TVR has the Vertical boot opening to allow easier access to the boot, plus it enables better access for the Petrol Pump Nozzle!
The Chimaera is always garaged when not in occasional use - which is time/ weather dependant. I will be sad to see her go, but retirement forces my reluctant hand.
I've been a TVRCC member for some 20+ years and owned 1 or 2 different TVR models, but the Chimaera 450 is possibly the best model to own for day to day use and touring.
This is a very rare car, due to it's mileage an condition. Others may be cheaper, but will cost a lot more long term.
