Description
Range Rover Vogue, desirable 4. 6 Ex-Factory Land Rover-owned vehicle, last of the P38As, now climbing in value.
I have owned it for about a year, previously owned by a Range Rover Register member for about 15 years. I looked at lots of 4. 6 P38A Range Rovers, as well as Classics and L322s before settling on this one.
Thousands spent servicing, sorting the usual issues found in Range Rovers of this era (too much to list). Not perfect, but big jobs done like front axle ball joints, heater o-rings and heater blend motors. No rust and has been cavity waxed several times throughout it's life. Still on fully working air suspension.
Large history file.
Recent Kent performance camshaft fitted with various other parts from Turner Engineering and previously rebuilt with TVR HC cylinder heads (I have confirmed this by checking the numbers cast and stamped on them, as well as photographing the double valve springs while the camshaft was being replaced). Uprated brakes, new genuine rear suspension air bags.
Some useful new and used spares available by separate negotiation.
Fitted with LPG autogas conversion when I bought it, I had planned to remove this, but it is certified, had been regularly serviced by a specialist and works perfectly, so I have left it in place and continued to enjoy the cheaper running costs (nice professional conversion with tank in the spare wheel well and separate matching full-size spare wheel).
I have towed a loaded car transporter trailer with it for several hundred miles and it pulls well, temperature gauge never goes over normal and doesn't burn any oil or water.
I have a set of roof rails and cross bars for it, (again, available by separate negotiation) which we used to load it up for our family holiday to Snowdonia last summer, where it provided stirling service with nice cold air conditioning.
Selling, to go towards the purchase of a Stage One V8 (a vehicle I have wanted to own since my childhood!).
Viewing highly recommended, as always on this sort of vehicle. I am happy to answer any questions, but better to come and make up your own mind: nothing to hide, so professional inspections welcome.
V5 in my name, personal vehicle, so sold as seen, no warranty given or implied, comprehensive insurance must be shown for road test, but happy to take serious buyers out as passenger, if no proof of insurance.
Payment in full by BACS before collection of vehicle or £500 non-refundable deposit to hold for 7 days. Still in regular use, so mileage will go up etc. No rush to sell, but I don't expect to recoup everything I have spent on it (well in excess of the full asking price), so I shan't be offended by sensible offers (no swaps thank you).
Thanks for looking. Registered by Land Rover LTD from new.
