Description
This 1995 Honda CB 400 Super Four has been my first bike, and it's taken me all around the UK and Europe. It's reliable, fun, and sits nicely in the vintage category, which helps keep insurance premiums down.
Unfortunately, I'm having to sell it after transitioning to a Land Rover Defender, which is keeping me plenty busy with maintenance and joyriding.
Key Features:
- Full service history, with the most recent service completed in April 2024. Very little riding has been done since.
- Always run on E5 fuel with a drop of Redex to maintain clean carbs, which were professionally serviced right after purchase in 2023.
- Includes 2 Oxford F1 50L panniers, custom-adapted to fit securely on the bike for additional storage. Also features the extremely handy under-seat storage, perfect for leathers and locks without the need to carry them around.
- Heated grips for colder rides.
Known Issues:
- The fuel gauge is not functional, but I rely on the odometer for tracking fuel. Expect roughly 200 km per tank before hitting reserve (depending on riding style). I reset the odometer with every refill for accurate tracking.
- The engine heating light comes on just before the fan kicks in; this is part of the design but can cause some panic if you're not familiar with it.
This bike is in excellent condition and has been well maintained. Get in touch if interested, and we can arrange a viewing.
