Description
I’m selling my 1981 Honda CB750 F in beautiful condition, due to lack of use.
Work and improvements done:
• Full repaint in original color
• Forks fully rebuilt
• Rear shocks replaced
• Electrical system overhauled
• New battery (March 2025)
• All brake lines replaced
• Front brake calipers fully rebuilt
• Front master cylinder rebuilt, rear master cylinder replaced with new
• Carburetors fully rebuilt
• Registered with FMI (Italian Historic Motorcycle Register) with official tag
Note: I couldn’t obtain the “Gold” certification because the mufflers, although period-correct and identical in style, are Sito brand instead of OEM.
Additional modifications:
• Smaller turn signals installed (originals included)
• Rear shocks replaced with black ones (originals included)
• A new horn (hidden) was installed — the original horns are still mounted but non-functional
• The typical fuel leakage issue from the carbs has been resolved
• Oil and filters changed
• Installed cone air filters for aesthetics with proper jetting; original airbox is included
There are a couple of minor imperfections in the clear coat:
• One on the left side of the tank
• One on the right side panel
Both are easily fixable at a paint shop or can be left as-is.
I’m selling it because there’s nothing left to maintain on it, and I use other bikes for riding.
Included with the bike, all together:
• Second complete CB750 engine (approx. 30, 000 km – needs checking)
• Two full sets of 4-carb assemblies
• Extra brake hoses, electrical parts, starter motor, spark plugs, coils, wiring, brake calipers, and the original factory service manualThis is not a commercial sale — I do this out of passion for mechanics, and I’m looking to sell at a fair price so I can start a new project from scratch.
