Ford Anglia 105E Estate Standard 997cc manufactured 1965. 72000 miles.
I am selling a splendid 105E estate which belonged to my late father in law and former well known member of the Anglia 105E Owners Club. I am no Anglia expert myself, but I am reliably advised that the estate version is very very rare, especially with it being a Standard model which was manufactured in Daventry. Always garaged overnight as it still is.
Our family have always been there custodian of this cherished car and the log book shows only 1 former keeper which was my father in laws wife’s father. The car has literally been a labour of love and a real vocation by a dedicated owner. It has been carefully and tastefully maintained to keep its originality and provenance over the years. As a skilled engineer himself my father in law used his talents to keep this car in fantastic condition throughout its life. The bodywork is solid and the paintwork (resprayed a few years ago) is excellent. It runs well, starts first time on cold mornings with a little choke and has recently passed it’s MOT with only 1 advisory of a 'service brake binding but not excessively nearside rear' - which has now been rectified and I have a receipt for this work. I also have a receipt for a new battery which I purchased in October 24 and has a full stainless steel exhaust system.
I have 25 past MOT certificates and the V5 in my possession, as well as receipts for sundries etc.
The engine runs smoothly and drives well and quietly with no adverse knocks or sounds. It is available for viewing in Melling L31.
